Our client is hiring a Director of Business Development to cover the Midwest/ Southern state territory. They are a well-established and growing client facing organization looking to expand their client base with this strong BD director. The Director will be the point of contact for all client matters, anticipate their needs, and align solutions with needs for current and future proposals/business development.
Responsibilities:
- Generates new leads and opportunities leveraging the company’s and incumbents’ network within the drug product space
- Builds solid, trusting, and measurable relationships with clients and companies while developing a complete understanding of client needs.
- Identifies market trends and customer needs, building a short/medium/long-term sales pipeline in accordance with targets.
- Supports the broader BD team in developing new service offerings and analyzing market trends.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related scientific discipline, business, or marketing.
- 5 years pharmaceutical drug product development experience.
- 2 years in a client-facing role preferred.
